This Privacy Policy explains how Velvet Yachts (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use www.velvetyachts.com (the “Site”). Velvet Yachts is an online showcase and re-seller of maritime services; bookings are operated and invoiced by Easyblue (https://eazyblue.com/). 2. The information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to provide our services:
- Inquiry and charter details: the name, email address and phone number you provide, together with your chosen dates, number of guests, and the yachts, routes or experiences you select or ask about, plus any message you send us.
- Concierge call-back requests: if you ask us to call you back, the phone number (and optional name) you submit.
- Newsletter: the email address you give us if you subscribe.
- Technical and usage data: with your consent, information such as your approximate location, device and browser, the pages you view and how you interact with the Site, collected through analytics tools.
- Marketing attribution: when you reach the Site from an advertisement or a shared link, the campaign and referral identifiers contained in that link (for example UTM tags and advertising click identifiers from Google, Meta or TikTok), so we can understand which campaigns lead to inquiries.
3. How and why we use your information
We use your information for the following purposes and on the following legal bases under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- To handle your inquiry and arrange your charter (responding, preparing an indicative offer, and passing the necessary details to Easyblue and the relevant operating partner so they can confirm, fulfil and invoice the Services). Legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to a contract.
- To send you our newsletter, where you have subscribed. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To measure and improve our marketing and the Site through analytics and advertising tools. Legal basis: your consent, given through our cookie banner.
- To keep the Site secure, prevent misuse and fraud, and maintain our records. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in running a safe and effective service.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to operate the Site, and, only after you accept them, analytics and advertising cookies. 5. Who we share your information with

- Service providers who help us run the Site and our communications, such as our website hosting and email providers, acting on our instructions.
- Authorities or advisers where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers above (for example Google, Meta, TikTok and Microsoft) may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your information.

We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as needed to handle your request and our relationship with you, and thereafter only as long as required to meet legal, accounting or record-keeping obligations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the settings and policies of the providers concerned.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal).
