This Cookie Policy explains how Velvet Yachts (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.velvetyachts.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage and small tracking tags, which work in comparable ways. b. Analytics. Set only after you accept, these help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (for example cookies such as _ga, _clck and _clsk).
c. Advertising and marketing. Set only after you accept, these help us measure our campaigns and show relevant offers. We use Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel and the TikTok Pixel, managed through Google Tag Manager (for example cookies such as _gcl_au, _fbp and _ttp).
d. Marketing attribution. Set only after you accept, this first-party record stores the campaign or referral identifiers that brought you to the Site (for example UTM tags and advertising click identifiers, kept in a cookie named velvet_attribution), so we can see which campaigns lead to inquiries.
4. Third-party providers
The analytics and advertising tools above are provided by third parties who process data under their own privacy and cookie policies. You can read more from Google (policies.google.com), Meta (www.facebook.com/policies/cookies), TikTok (www.tiktok.com/legal) and Microsoft (privacy.microsoft.com). These providers may set their own cookies and may process data outside the European Economic Area, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. How to manage cookies
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through our banner, and you can review or withdraw your choice at any time as described above. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working as intended.
